Story
Enisey started this season with a sensational win over CSKA. They planned to do it again with Khimki. The guests were left without Jovic, Kramer, Bertans, Mozgov, Valiev, Gubanov and Karasev due to injuries.
In the start of the game Egor Vialtsev was injured. But this couldn’t stop Khimki. They were better in offense, and the efforts of Shved and Booker (16 points together) brought the first quarter 29:26.
In the second quarter, Khimki turned on the defensive mode. With Shved and Timma’s performance, Evans’ domination in the paint, Khimki managed to extend the lead. They had +17 (52:35) during the quarter. But Krasnoyarsk with Hogue’s energy (13 points in the first half) diminished the gap by halftime 46:55.
After the break the Siberians tried to get the game back. They used aggression and invited Khimki to play athletic basketball. But there was no comeback. Evans was stable, young Barashkov made a couple of three-pointers, and Enisey themselves made errors, so the yellow-blues retained the lead.
Run and gun was a comfortable style for Khimki. Gill, Jerebko and Shved scored easy points, and Khimki broke through 100 points for the first time in the season.

Hero
Jeremy Evans made a difference in offense and dominated the rebounds. The center’s record is 18 points and 9 rebounds.

Stat
106. Khimki reset the score record of this VTB League season.

Comment
Enisey head coach Drazen Anzulovic:
Congrats to Khimki. They were stronger within the whole game. There’s no problem to lose this game. The problem is we did not fight enough. We were not as motivated as Khimki. We’ve already played against two strongest League teams, and we had nothing to lose in both games. A week ago we were ready to play, but not today.

Khimki head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis:
I’d say it is a good result. I’m glad we had a game like this despite allowing 86 points. Today I wanted to give more minutes to Shved and Gill who missed a big part due to injuries.
