VTB United League Preparing Bid Process For Media Rights

The VTB United League is preparing a bid process on media and betting rights, beginning with the 2019-2020 season.

At the present time, the League has an active agreement with multi-year partner Lagardère Sports, which ends in 2019. The current agreement extends to third-party countries (countries without clubs in the League championship).

– The VTB United League highly values its multi-year partnership with Lagardère Sports. Putting together a bid process is above all an opportunity to assess the real value of media and betting rights for third-party countries. 

In recent years, the League and clubs have invested a lot of resources in creating our own unique TV product. As a result, there is a simple desire to increase the cost of the existing contract. We will establish the terms for the bid process in the near future and send them to potential partners, including Lagardère Sports.
