Quotes
PARMA head coach Nikolajs Mazurs:
– First of all, I want to congratulate our team and fans on the win. Since the team hadn’t played in more than a month, I think everyone missed the game. Our goal was to win the game, but we also did so in impressive fashion. I’m confident everyone enjoyed it. As for strategy, I think our exhibition games vs. UNICS helped. We were very fired up, which was evident in the 1st quarter. Our attitude and energy practically decided the game in the 1st quarter.

Kalev coach Gidrius ZIbenas:
– We started very slow. PARMA scored four quick 3-pointers, which was a surprise for us. Before the game we watched film and expected PARMA to drive more. That start affected our offense. But offense wasn’t the issue. We scored our 84 points, which isn’t bad, but we gave up more than 100, which is not acceptable. We could have played much better and I’m confident we will in the next game. I also want to say that I don’t understand how a team like PARMA has only five wins. They deserve far more.
