Nizhny Novgorod Plays Host To ACB All-Star Game

With the support of the VTB United League, Nizhny Novgorod the Association of Student Basketball (ACB) All-Star Game on Sunday. Russia's top student-athletes took part in the game, selected from thousands of ACB athletes.

The festivities included a dunk and 3-point contest, mascot battle and other surprises for participants and fans.

The win in the ACB All-Star Game went to the West, which defeated the East by a score of 90-84. The game MVP went to forward Pavel Sizov, who scored a game-high 14 points. In addition to the ACB, he also plays for Khimki-2 in the VTB United Youth League.

- The guys in Nizhny Novgorod did an excellent job in a short amount of time, - shared VTB United League president Sergey Kushchenko. - I especially liked what was done outside the court. There were seminars for sports managers, opportunities to watch classic games and much more. The 3-point contest and dunk contest also went well. I think it was a great event!
