Moscow Hosts Youth All-Star Game On February 28

Moscow will host the first-ever Russian Youth All-Star Game at the USH CSKA on February 28, featuring representatives of the country's two most prestigious youth leagues: the VTB United Youth League and the Association of Student Basketball (ASB).

In addition to the game itself, which will begin at 2:30 PM, spectators will be treated to on-court entertainment and fan contests. Each fan will also receive a free ticket to the CSKA - Lokomotiv-Kuban regular-season game scheduled for 7:00 PM that evening, also to be played at the USH CSKA.

The ASB is the biggest student sports league in Russia and the second biggest in the world. Each year, more than 4,000 games featuring 800 men's and women's teams are played. Student-athletes in the competition are eligible for prizes and grants.

Professional players are not permitted to compete in the ASB.

The VTB United Youth League is a competition for younger players and was created in 2013 by the VTB United League. Nine VTB United League youth teams (CSKA, Lokomotiv-Kuban, Khimki, UNICS, Nizhny Novgorod, Avtodor, Zenit, Enisey, Krasny Oktyabr) and the youth team from Superleague club Samara entered the 2015-16 edition of the league.
