Story
Leading by a point early in the 3rd quarter, Khimki used a 15-2 run to seize control of the game. Charles Jenkins accounted for most of the damage, scoring 11 points in under four minutes, including three 3-pointers. 

Defense also played a part. After giving up 35 points in the first half, Khimki held the visitors to 20 points in the second. The visitors shot 7-25 over the final 20 minutes, slumping to a 28-point defeat.

Charles Jenkins. Alexey Shved had 19 points, but without his flurry of 3-pointers in the 3rd quarter, Minsk may have kept the score much closer. The American guard also added four steals and only missed one field-goal attempt, tying Malcolm Thomas for the best efficiency rating on the team.

70%. Khimki shot an incredible 70% from inside the arc (17-24). Coupled with 40% from beyond the arc, Moscow Region was a model of efficiency.

Early On
Despite the not-so-close final score, Tsmoki’s resiliency over the first 20 minutes impressed. Trailing 16-4 late in the 1st quarter, the visitors rallied with a 15-0 run. Minsk led much of the 2nd quarter before giving up a 10-4 run in the final minutes.
