Enisey Krasnoyarsk defeated PARMA Perm at home, 83-78 (18-24, 26-18, 20-15, 19-21).
Enisey: Alex Young (19), D’Angelo Harrison (19 + 9 reb + 4 stl), John Roberson (15)
PARMA: Kodi Justice (26), Janis Blums (14), Eigirdas Zukauskas (10)
After opening the season with a pair of blowout losses to CSKA and Khimki, Enisey gave the home fans something to cheer about on Sunday afternoon, clawing past PARMA, 83-78.
The Siberian club’s American duo of Alex Young and D’Angelo Harrison combined for 38 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists in the win.
Kodi Justice poured in 26 points for the visitors, who were coming off a big win on Wednesday in Riga. Despite leading by six at the end of the 1st quarter, Perm’s offense sputtered the rest of the way. PARMA shot 36% on the game, negating a +9 advantage on the glass and Justice’s big performance.
The home team led by two at halftime, 44-42. The advantage increased to seven in the 3rd quarter.
With the visitors trailing by only five, 73-68, with three minutes to go, Enisey guard Artem Komissarov sank a huge 3-pointer to make it an eight-point game.

Harrison and Young combined to stretch the lead to 10, 80-70.
PARMA briefly reduced its deficit to four, 80-76, with a minute to go, but John Roberson hit back with another clutch triple and Enisey held on for the victory.
14 – Krasnoyarsk poured in 14 triples, led by Young (4-6), Harrison (3-6) and Roberson (3-5). PARMA was dangerous, too, from beyond the arc, sinking 12.
Enisey head coach Oleg Okulov: “Yes, we won today. The game was tough. The team absolutely needed the win, but I’m not happy with our play and the game as a whole. We have things to work on. I think we need to figure out what happened today as quickly as possible and be pretty strict with the players about executing on the court what we’ve agreed to do in the locker room.”
PARMA head coach Nikolajs Mazurs: “I’ll be short: We made too many bad mistakes today, which is why we couldn’t even get a shot off sometimes. Mistakes killed us at the end.”
