VTB United League 2019/20 season will be opened by Khimki vs Zielona Gora at VTB Arena in Moscow on September 25. Khimki are preparing the opening ceremony that will feature Latvian band BrainStorm. Pre-game show will start at 19:45, the band’s set is scheduled at 19:55.

The first and only basketball game at VTB Arena was VTB United League All-Star held on February 17, 2019. World Stars won in a clutch beating Russian Stars 118:115. The All-Star was sold out with 11 700 spectators at VTB Arena.
