VTB United League club Astana has won the Kazakh championship.
Ilias Papatheodorou’s club convincingly defeated last season’s champions Barsy Atyrau in the final game, 94-78 (20-18, 47-35, 69-56, 94-78). Astana guard Rob Lowery was the best player in the game, scoring 25 points.
