VTB United League club Astana has successfully defended its Kazakh championship.
Led by VTB United League Coach of the Year Emil Rajkovic, the club swept rival Barsy Atyrau 2-0 in the championship series (88-83, 80-71), winning its seventh league title.
Astana’s Ken Horton and Stephen Holt received first team honors in the Kazakh league.
