FIBA World Cup with 32 participating teams will take place in China from August 31 to September 15. 17 players from 6 clubs will represent VTB United League.

CSKA: Nikita Kurbanov, Andrey Vorontsevich, Mikhail Kulagin, Semen Antonov (Russia), Johannes Voigtmann (Germany), Daniel Hacket (Italy)
Zenit: Andrey Zubkov (Russia), Mateusz Ponitka (Poland), Andrew Albicy (France);
Khimki: Sergey Karasev, Evgeny Valiev (Russia), Stefan Jovic (Serbia);
Lokomotiv-Kuban: Vitaly Fridzon, Vladimir Ivlev (Russia), Mantas Kalnietis (Lithuania);
Nizhny Novgorod: Evgeny Baburin (Russia):
UNICS: Vangelis Mantzaris (Greece).

VTB United League is the second most represented European championship on the World Cup with Spain leading (more than 40 players). The most represented world league is the NBA (more than 50 players).
