«Khimki» Khimki, Russia vs. «Kalev» Tallinn, Estonia

The Russian Khimki, playing at home, came out on top at the game with Estonian Kalev - 76:65.
For the current VTB United League champion this victory became the eighth in eight games, while the Estonian club spent nine games in total, of which 8 were lost.

The jerk 11:4, organized by Kresimir Loncar and Sergey Monya didn’t bring special dividend to Russian club, and on the 7-th minute the visitors already were ahead - 13:14. Who could have thought that a 20-year-old forward Benjamin-Pavel Dudu would bring luck to Khimki! After appearance of the young player, the Moscow region team once again regained its leadership in the game. Khimki, to the joy of the fans started to make a breakthrough, but stopped when it was «+9». Gregor Arbet took the role of the leader at Kalev again as it was in the game with Nizhniy Novgorod and only-34:33 shortly before the big break.

In the second half Kalev suddenly began to dictate the current champions and leaders of the current season their own rules. Arbet along with Gert Dorbek and Armands Skele constantly surpassed Khimki players in one-on-one game, forcing them to make losses and commit fouls.

And at the last break Kalev had a sensational six-point advantage. But Croatian center Loncar helped Khimki. once again demonstrated his ability to replace Timothy Mozgov in the starting five. After three-pointers by Monya and Egor Vialtsev, Loncar made a series of hits for every taste – the spurt of Khimki 19:4 and the score became 69:62 in their favor. Rimas Kurtinaitis players did not want to play in the «cat and mouse» any more and brought the match to win - 76:65.

24 points had Loncar, 14 added Monya, 13 - Zoran Planinic. In Kalev - Arbet had 12 points, Pavel Uljanko (11), Armands Skele and Nikolay Varbanov made 10 points each.
